Rachelle Ansell 1983 - 2002

Rachelle Ansell started writing under the “nom de plume” Rainbow Ducks at the age of 15. From Melody Maker to the NME columns ANGST, SHOOT and various music webzine such as Drowned in Sound, she always had something to say.

On her way back to start her second year reading Law at Edinburgh University she was killed in a road
Traffic accident, she was only 19.

During her first year at UNI, she joined the Student newspaper society then spent the month of August working for Fest, covering the Edinburgh Festival. She enjoyed herself tremendously and whilst reading Law thought she might end up with a career as a journalist or writer of some kind. This Webzine is set up in her memory to give opportunity to people who have something to say to express themselves.

So like her HAVE A GO – you don’t know if you can until you try.
Rachelle was trilingual and had friends (who will pass on the webzine address to other young people in their country) not only in England but France, Spain and the USA so don’t be shy please try.

This webzine is written for you, by you – so if you fancy writing something,
